Summerset is a musical group of veteran musicians based in the St. John’s, NL and vicinity. In terms of
experience and identity each of the members of the group are well known and have been performing
professionally for many years. The band’s leader Billy Sharpe, is also the founding member and leader of
the iconic Nfld rock, soul and r 'n b band Billy and The Bruisers, from which he also recruited fellow
Bruisers Doug Sharpe and Paul Monahan for this project, along with long time keyboardist Wade
Pinhorn, former 12 Guage Bassist Bruce Blackwood, and singer/ media personality Brian Callahan.
Performing songs by such classic bands as The Rolling Stones, Santana, Van Morrison, The Doors , Queen
, Eric Clapton and many many more, this group are great fun to have at a concert, dance, or even just to
listen to some oldies but goodies with!
