Emma AndersonEmma Anderson is a performer from Corner Brook, and she has a BFA in acting from Grenfell Campus, MUN. Some of her past credits include No Man’s Land and West Moon (Rising Tide Theatre Festival), The S.S. Ethie (Gros Morne Theatre Festival), and To The Girls (Stephenville Theatre Festival). She’s thrilled to back in beautiful Trinity for another season!
Mallory ClarkeMallory Clarke is an actor, writer, director and arts educator based in English Harbour, NL. Mallory holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from the Boston Conservatory and an MFA in Theatre Performance Creation from York University. They are a PhD student in English Literature at Memorial University and teach acting in CNA's TV and Film Creation Program.
Sandy GowSandy Gow holds a BFA in Acting from Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus where she graduated with honours in 2006. She is a recipient of the Tommy Sexton Triple-Threat Award and a Gold Medal Winner for Academic Excellence in Theatre. Sandy has worked with Rising Tide Theatre as a musician, actor, and director for over a dozen summers since joining the company back in 2000. Sandy is also a Level 4 ECE and currently works with the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Newfoundland and Labrador as their Professional Learning Coordinator. She loves spending time in Trinity playing the fiddle and is happy to be part of the company for another summer.

Donna ButtDonna was artistic director of the Rising Tide Theatre through 46 years of dedicated service and visionary leadership. A pioneering artist, Donna has led the company since 1978, from the early collective shows to the annual Revue, from the cultural innovation of the Trinity experiment through three decades of significant growth, relocating herself and the company in 1993.
Donna continues as Founder/Senior Producer, overseeing expansion of the Rising Tide Arts Centre, leading major digital and archival projects, continuing to direct and act. Her dedication, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment have been intrinsic to the company's success. Nick CorcoranNick Corcoran is a playwright, technician, and musician based in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Marcie HicksMarcie is back for her second year at the Rising Tide, and she couldn’t be more excited to return! She has recently graduated high school, and will be studying french at the University of Ottawa in September. She is excited to spend her summer with all these talented people!

Jared HiscockJared Hiscock is a 20 year old film and TV student, who is currently pursuing his studies at the College of North Atlantic in St. Johns, Newfoundland. Jared has had a lifelong passion for the film industry and tries to immerse himself in every aspect of it as much as possible. He has a desire to captivate and entertain, he seeks opportunities to be an active participant in the world of theatre and television. He is looking forward to his first season of performances at the Rising Tide Theatre!
Amelia ManuelAmelia Manuel is an actor/singer/writer from Clarenville, NL. Some of her past theatrical credits include Eleanor - Grace (Poverty Cove Theatre), Millie - Birthday Balloon (Rising Tide Theatre), Dorine - Tartuffe (National Arts Centre), Helena - A Midsummer Night's Dream and Velma Kelly - Chicago (Stephenville Theatre Festival), Myra Bennett - Tempting Providence (Theatre Newfoundland Labrador) and Tracey - Supper Club (RCAT). Amelia has appeared in the films Hunting Pignut, Black Conflux, Sweetland, and The King Tide, as well as the television shows Astrid and Lilly Save the World, SurrealEstate, and Hudson & Rex. Amelia is also co-creator and co-writer of Double Out, a television comedy based on NL women's darts which is currently in development.

Cameron JohnstonCameron Johnston is a 22 year old film student from St. John’s, studying at the TV and Film Creation program at CNA. He has been working and studying performance acting for a number of years. He is also the co-founder and artistic director of Dog With Two Tales Productions. He is very much looking forward to his first season of performance at the Rising Tide Theatre!
Graeme Olivia McNabbGraeme Olivia McNabb is an actor from Unama’ki (colonially known as Cape Breton Island) entering their fourth year of Memorial University’s theatre BFA program. Past Rising Tide credits include Salt-Water Moon, No Man’s Land, and West Moon. Favourite credits elsewhere include Orlando (Theatre at Grenfell), Dracula (Boardmore Playhouse), and Bunny (Highland Arts Theatre).

Rouzbeh MehrRouzbeh Mehr originally from Rasht, Iran, is a recently graduated theatre student from the Grenfell campus of Memorial University. He passionately delves into the art of acting and production, equipped with training and experience in acting and theatre, having performed in both theatre and TV in Iran. His selected recent acting credits include Eilert Lovborg in Hedda Gabler (Theatre at Grenfell), Colonel Hadow in No Man’s Land (Rising Tide Theatre), Alexander
Darius in Will They Never Leave? (Theatre at Grenfell), and Paul in People, Places and Things (Theatre at Grenfell). Rouzbeh is eager to contribute to the vibrant theatre community in Newfoundland and Canada in the future. He looks forward to translating academic insights and his life experiences as an Iranian immigrant in Canada into professional endeavors. Andrew PrestonAndrew Preston is a theatre artist based in St. John's, Newfoundland. He has been involved in productions in the St. John's community and across the province for over seven years. Most recently, he was on stage in Best Kind Productions' "Heathers: The Musical" in St. John's. This summer will mark his third with Rising Tide, and he is so excited to be back once again. He can't wait to be a part of another great season of shows in the beautiful Trinity Bight!
Michelle Rex BaileyMichelle Rex Bailey has been involved in the arts for over 20 years. She has worked as an actor with Rising Tide Theatre at the Summer in the Bight Theatre Festival, Trinity Pageant. She has toured Ireland with West Moon. Film credits include Random Passage, Grand Seduction, Newfoundland Armageddon, Misery Harbour, Love and Savagery and Party Pirate. She was co-writer on Times We Had. Snow What? A Children’s musical show PlayNTime. And has co-written 2 comedies Don’t Be so Foolish and The Nut Crackers. Her behind the scenes work include a stint as Extras Casting and Stand-ins. She won the Rhonda Payne Award for a woman in theatre in 2007.
Step TaylorStep Taylor is a playwright and actor from Chapel Arm. His play Settle Down, Ellie recently received first prize in Ottawa Little Theatre’s 83 rd Annual National One-Act Playwriting Competition. His other plays include In Your Wildest Dreams, Out of It, Tibb’s Eve, The False
Neighbour, V-Cards, Model Wanted, and Chapel Arm. His recent acting credits at Rising Tide include Smith in No Man’s Land, Ned in West Moon, and David in Birthday Balloon. When not on stage this summer there is a fair chance you can catch him scurrying along local trails, dipping into choice swimming holes, or annihilating Buffalo wings. |
Michael PowerMichael is an Actor, Singer, and Dancer from Harbour Grace. He is a graduate of the Musical Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College. Past Credits include Lead Vocalist - Deerhurst Resort; Revue (2012-2021); and 15 seasons at Spirit of Newfoundland. He is very excited to be back for his 15th season with Rising Tide Theatre.
